Research Interest/Data Set List

The dataset that used in this research is about Top 99 IMDb Rated Movies

Genre
- Movie's genre is category classified by movie's content, subject, style, moode and many other things. One movie can have mutiple genre.
- There's a lot of Genre of Movies in this world such as Drama, Science-fiction, Crime, horror and more over.
- In these days, action is the most seized genre. 25.1% of the movies' genre is action.
IMDb
- IMDb is American movie information site. In this site, you can find almost every movie's information with no regard of nationality.
- IMDb rating is from users. Therefore, it reflects public taste much more than critic's rating.
- Each of users has one vote from 1 to 10.
Box Office
- The original meaning of box office is the place for buying tickets. In these days, it is also used meaning of the index of hit of a moive.
- There are two ways to measure it. The First one is using number of audience.
- The first one is using sales directly connected with box-office profit. The sales is calculated by adding domestic gross and international gross.
